After Strafe, a Justicair shunned by her fellow officers for her earnest pursuit of justice, has her soul torn from her body by a wandering necromancer, she has two choices. Stumbling out of a garbage-strewn alley, she has to decide: retrieve her soul within seven days, or die. A street away, Hella, an angry and naïve young man, sets out to continue his hunt for the ancient android that killed his brother, memories and unanswered questions dancing in his mind. So begins a desperate chase across a broken, exhausted world filled with the wreckage of apocalypses past. Machines and magic intertwine, armies march, greed rules, and the dead linger. Perhaps salvation lies hidden amongst the ruins.
